This has to be one of the goofiest family pictures ever! We had a big family party for Rita Howitt's 90th birthday, with as many of her descendants as we could swing (my father and his two brothers, and their families). After the nice but rather formal dinner, we brought Gran back to her apartment in Wollaston and we happened to find a laundry cart full of sheets, and somehow we decided that we just had to have a toga party right there in the retirement home! (maybe you had to be there ...) Many of the guys kept their ties on while stripping down and donning togas, mine ended up around my head like a headband. Wildest night I've ever had in a retirement home.
