Black Rock City
Black Rock City is the largest Leave-No-Trace camp in the world, a
temporary city of over thirty thousand people, complete with most of
the amenities of any city of similar size (radio stations, newspapers,
fire department, airport, post office). I have heard that, during the
week of Burning Man, Black Rock City is the third largest city in the
state of Nevada. At the end of the week, it all vanishes, leaving no
trace that it was there.
