Copper fins have been cut to length and holes punched for the heat
transfer tubes.

Copper fins against a scale to confirm measurements.

Machinist shears a strip of heavier copper, and demonstrates how to
roll it into a collar.

The collar fits around this ceramic substrate, with several fins in
place to show how they will assemble. Next step is to drill the
collar for the coolant tubes, and then braze the copper pieces
together.
Critical measurements
These are the critical dimensions for software simulation.
- Fin spacing: 2mm on centers
- Fin depth: 12.85mm
- Fin thickness: 0.47mm
