CottonTree Lodge is a
new eco-tourism resort in
southern Belize , on the banks of the Moho River, about 10 miles
west of Punta Gorda. I traveled there last winter, to check out the
area and help out the planning and construction, and here's my travel
journal from that visit. Now they're ready for business and
having their grand opening, and I'm going there to celebrate and enjoy
the new facilities.
Homeward bound, I just had to take a picture of the pilot, with his
Santa hat and big Belizean smile. He said it's his birthday, and he
wears this hat every year on his birthday.
